Yamaha FZ25 is one with the 249cc air-cooled 4-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC and its petrol is provided through the fuel-injection. Based on a reliable 250cc single-cylinder engine provides perfect intake/exhaust and the ignition systems. The combustion chamber and perfect compression ratio gives Yamaha FZ25 its maximum power output of 20.6 Bhp at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 20Nm at 6,000 rpm. Its engine adopts a lightweight forged aluminum piston, a plated cylinder with outstanding heat removal characteristics. Its thin piston rings for reduced power loss and free more. Specially, one balancer is added to reduce its vibration perceived by the rider and the passenger.
Yamaha FZ25 is called as "Naked Street" and the model has registered a total sales of over 11,477 in India over the period of 2017. In 2018 first six months it sold 12,034 units It is now introduced in Sri Lanka as the 2019 Yamaha FZ25 Motorbike.
The naked street fighter sports muscular looks with features such as low positioned, sharp headlamps with halogen unit and three LED units. The LEDs include two smaller 13W units for low beam and one 9W diode for high beam.
The chiseled fuel tank gets matte black and painted sections. In addition, it comes with large extensions with air-vents. While the side panels remind faintly of FZ16, they are relatively thinner for keeping a check on body weight.
